在《外贸运营面对面|我是如何开始英文写作之路的?》一文中,我无情地阐述和暴露着自己性格方面的“缺陷”,也正是这种格格不入的自我状态,让我最终选择了运营这条路。
很多人知道,我不愿意过分表达合不合时宜的观点,因为那不能让我有多少成就感,只会觉得无聊。在这7年多的运营生活里,不知不觉活成了Programmed Drunkard。很多人难以想象这个年纪的人,会对趣闻轶事不敢兴趣,我就是这样。
实际上,除了外贸网站设计与开发之外,我主要在英文文案方面,一直投入大量精力。最为主要的原因,是我觉得随着年龄的增长,互联网更好的转型或者选择是Design Thinking。框架的表现力是有限的,但是思维的维度却是无垠无际的。
所以你看,如果想要改变,最好的方法就是早做打算,然后行动起来。
练习英文写作,通过Copywriting走近或者说迎接充满设计元素的灵感,是一件不错的事情。因此,今天恰好又是周末,我为大家整理了一些在机械类产品的英文写作时,我最喜欢的、常用的句式和语法,仅供借鉴参考。
#01.As we have felt it, Caterpillar bulldozer parts must have excellent performance in corrosion resistance, surface hardness and mechanical strength. This is mainly because the Cat bulldozer has many unique designs that allow it to cope in a complex work environment well. The worse situation it faces, the more consistently it needs to perform.
注释:在做描述性语言的时候,我通常喜欢用一些介词短语开头,这会让整个句子的代入感更强,不生硬而又让人容易接受。
#02.Are you still struggling to find a cost-effective Caterpillar excavator parts supplier? Stay here for a while and we’ll show you the model list of the most common Cat excavator parts, where you may find more replacement and new aftermarket parts easily.
注释:当你打算介绍产品的时候,你可以用疑问句开头,将对方心里的疑虑、不解以及这个产品的通病一吐为快。实际上,疑问句在CTR方面,同样发挥着不可替代的效果。
#03.Focusing too hard on performance in practice ofHitachi excavator parts to gain high praise from ultimate customers may deliver the desired results. That’s why ***exists.
注释:很多时候,你会发现老外的文章或者博客中,大多数句子都不是以“We'll、Our strength、I just”的形式开头。动词作为句首的表达结构,会让整个段落的意思更加具有ActionableExpression。
#04.Perhaps you’re proud to operate a JCB excavator or you may be impressed by its uniqueappearance anddurableservice life. Absolutely right!
注释:在描述一个客观事实的时候,你可以尝试表达你的态度和立场。没有人喜欢读一篇毫无感情色彩的文章,融入实际上就是作者与读者之间的感同身受在某一个点得到爆发与共鸣,doesn't it?
#05.Even though many ads’ title contains the words “Lower Price”, we’d like to say that you should base your models' information first and foremost on what’s the most cost-effective JCB excavator spare parts supplier for you. This is where ***comes in.
注释:如果一上来就说你的产品如何出色,这显然让人难以接受。在我看来,营销或者推广,就是教会客户对已有价值体系进行调整和深入认知的过程。
这种过程,需要你循序渐进地对客观事实进行告诫,然后轻描淡写地告诉读者“如果你喜欢,也许你可以试试这个”,点到为止。
其实我认为,营销类文案的力量在于传达正确的价值观和量化的产品理念,而不是强迫购买。试着把手摊开,沙子也许就不会流失。
#06.When it comes to Japanese excavator brands, we always talk about Kato without any hesitation. As always, they practice technical innovation regularly as a marketing strategy.
注释:有一些固定的句式你需要去整理,比如说这段话里面的“ When it comes to... ”,“ without any hesitation ”,“ regularly as ”。英文写作是一个发现、整理与重塑的过程,看得久了,记得多了,自然而然就有了感情。

注释:如果不想让文案看上去索然无味或者十分生硬,你可以使用关联词语。作为句子衔接必不可少的部分,关联词语会让整个文章读起来更具人性化、作者的观点更加鲜明。

注释:英语中的一些谚语、俚语和固定的表达结构,是应该被整理便于不时之需。比如我在描述供配件供应商抢占市场份额的时候,我就会说“大家似乎都想在分一杯羹......”。这种表达会让整个文案更有活力,而不至于死气沉沉。
#09.In fact, your machine will work like a new one when you choose the aftermarket and replacement parts accurately. Believe it, the ultimate solution for the economy and durability will improve work efficiency perfectly.
注释:在陈述事实之后,如果想进行定义或者表达强烈客观理念,你的话术就要不容置疑。所以可以使用“ Believe it ”、“ Obviously”、“ Absolutely ”这种词汇来先声夺人。
#10.So far, better execution efficiency and accurate feedback wehaveinsisted on have saved time costs for clients across the board. In fact, this is the smart way we createto explore customer satisfaction.
注释:经常性地使用修饰词或者恰当的副词,会使你的语义表达得更加深刻而确切。读者很容易会根据你的描述,试图在脑海中勾画场景,这会让他对你的产品或者公司充满好奇以至于一探究竟,询盘和点击率由此而生。
Joe Wong是我非常喜欢的美国脱口秀演员。仔细看他在美国白宫以及C-SPAN的表演,你会发现他的表达逻辑清晰、用词准确且恰到好处。这一点也不会让听众感觉是在浪费时间。
其实英文写作更是这样。不管是什么产品,没有人不喜欢诙谐和幽默所带来的的感染力。把量化的产品数据以更打动人心的语言,进行传递,其实是我们每一个做运营人需要思考和提升的地方。
